Fizeram parte dos meus cabazes de natal. A granola caseira é sempre muito bem recebida nos meus “cabazes” e todos os anos faço uma receita diferente para assim surpreender os meus amigos que a recebem.
Este ano a granola de Natal, levou sementes, azeite, mel, cajus, canela, chips de banana e tâmaras, para ser diferente. Eu experimentei com iogurte grego, como mais gosto, e achei-a deliciosa. Espero que quem a recebeu também goste.
E partilho a receita aqui, para experimentarem nestes dias após os excessos de natal, para uns pequenos almoços mais saudáveis e para começarem bem o ano de 2017 que está mesmo ao virar da semana!!
Ingredientes:
250g de aveia
50g de sementes de sésamo
50g de linhaça
5 colheres de sopa de mel
3 colheres de sopa de azeite
1 colher de sopa de canela em pó
125g de caju
100g de chips de banana
75g de tâmaras descaroçadas e cortadas às rodelas
Preparação:
Coloque a aveia num tabuleiro que possa ir ao forno e acrescente as sementes de sésamo e de linhaça, a canela, o mel e o azeite misturando bem até que todos os ingredientes fiquem bem envolvidos. Junte depois os cajus e misture novamente.
Leve ao forno previamente aquecido a 170ºC durante cerca de 20 minutos, mexendo de vez em quando para que a aveia toste e os frutos secos tostem por igual. Retire do forno e mexa deixando arrefecer.
Junte depois os chips de banana e as tâmaras em pedaços e depois de completamente frio guarde num frasco ou caixa hermética.
Use para juntar ao iogurte natural.

A granola é uma aventura recente, e apesar de apreciar bastante, ainda não irá fazer parte das minhas ofertas de Natal. Para essas, fico pelo mais simples e inofensivo, como bolachas, chás e doces, pois sei que são bem recebidos (até ao momento, não recebi nehuma reclamação!).
Ainda tenho que ganhar alguma desenvoltura com a granola, e testar sabores. Já fiz algumas experiências, umas resultaram bastante bem (figo seco e gengribre açucarado), e outras ficaram "quase lá" no resultado pretendido (com a polpa da banana e frutos vermelhos liofizados).
Esta parece ser bastante interessante com o azeite e as sementes, além da banana e das tâmaras. Mais uma para experimentar!
